Brand Spotlight: OrangeTheory Fitness

OrangeTheory Fitness (OTF) is a group fitness training enterprise. It offers instructor lead classes that are science backed and technology driven. The genesis of OrangeTheory Fitness is based on the physiological theory of “Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption” or EPOC.

It is the idea of focusing on the “Orange Zone ”. This is the target heart rate to spike metabolism, boost energy and help members see optimal results. These workouts allow a member’s body to continue to burn calories all day after a class.

OTF provides members with performance metrics using their state-of- the-art technology- OTconnect™. It delivers heart rate data and performance metrics to members in real-time. From the moment a member steps on a treadmill, the OTbeat™ wearable device will seamlessly connect.

Members can track their workout via TV screens in the studio. In addition, they also get a full report via email and within the OrangeTheory Fitness App afterwards. The report includes calories burned, Splat Points (these indicate minutes spent in the orange and red heart rate zones) and other metrics from the workout. Allowing members to track their fitness progress over time.

The 60 minute, full-body workout varies each day, and no two classes are the same. Professional OTF Coaches are always available to help members tailor their workouts based on individual needs. This is to ensure goals are met and progress is made.

In conclusion, OTF has had record breaking years since its founding in 2010. As of December 2019, the chain includes over 1,200 studios in all 50 U.S. states and studios in over 23 countries.

Franchisees in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore use Digital Stack to coordinate their marketing efforts. Users regularly schedule content to social channels to ensure consistent communication with current and prospective members.
