We recently weighed up the pro’s and con’s of each account type on Instagram and now that you’ve chosen to switch your account to business, we’ll take you through the steps in order to do this for your account. 

1. Go to your profile and tap the 3 lines in the upper right corner
2. Tap Settings
   
3. Tap Account
   
4. Scroll down and tap Switch to Professional Account
   
5. Tap Continue
6. Select a Category for your business and tap Done
7. Tap OK to confirm
8. Tap Business
9. Tap Next
10. Add your business contact details and tap Next
11. Connect your business Facebook page to your business Instagram account to allow for your content to be shared across both platforms
